03. Thirsty flowers

Most of flowers like to drink water, but there are a few flowers EXCEPTIONALLY love to drink water!

Here are thirsty flowers we often see.

1.Hydrangea

Combining the words ‘hydro’ (=water) and ‘angeion’ (=barrel or pitcher) resulted in the name Hydrangea. So you can guess how much they want to drink water, right?
They can drink water not only from the tip of the stems but also from the petals.
So you can keep replenishing water  at the same time keep mist-spraying on the petals.

If your hydrangea look very droopy and sad, you can just dunk in the water for a couple of hours.
I can guarantee, it will look perky and lively again!

2. Lisianthus

This lovely delicate look flower need lots of water.
So make sure put sufficient water in the vase.
Those little buds attached in the stem will bloom once they are fully hydrated.

3. Hellebore

Hellebores do well in deep water, so fill the vase almost to the top.
Another tip to keep hellebores  from wilting is plunging the tips of the stems in boiling water for a bout a minute, followed by a deep, cold drink for 6 hrs.

So remember when you have above flowers at home, make sure water level is deep deep deep!
